In my training, if the learner fails the final test, they must retake the course again from the beginning so I thought I could use the "restart course" trigger --- which works as it should. BUT if they fail it a second time the course should be marked completed as Incomplete/Failed. I created an "attempts" variable that adds 1 when the fail layer shows, but then when they restart the course, that variable gets reset to zero.
Any thoughts/suggestions on how I can get what I want?
Never mind! I finally figured it out. I added the 'add 1' variable trigger to the Restart Course button and moved it under the restart course trigger. The variable sticks.
