I am working on a project that uses layers to ask questions about a video presentation. I have the triggers set up to pause the timeline when the user clicks on a button. A new layer pops up to ask a question. Once the user answers the question, the layer is hidden again and goes back to the main layer. I am unable to figure out how to start the timeline again. I tried to set it up so that the timeline resumes when the layer closes, but the main timeline is not listed as an option for where to resume the timeline.
When the layer opens, there is an option to pause the base layer. Go to the gear and select that option. when the layer closes, the timeline will automatically resume.
You'll need to delete any triggers you have written concerning the timeline.
