Restrict a menu after publishing?

read through this post and see if part of the workaround code Bobbi used might work for you.

Thanks Wendy, we're in Storyline 2, so it's not how the restriction works but if we can do it after publishing.

so this code doesn't work in the published output?

• Double-click and open the story_content folder
• Open the frame.xml file (this can be opened with Notepad)
• Find and replace the following:
  <option name="flow" value="free" />
  with
  <option name="flow" value="restricted" />
• Save and close the frame.xml file.

No, the code does not work in the published output. We tested it and were unsuccessful. In fact it did not restrict anything.

sorry that doesn't work for you - I've used it and it restricts the menu. 

Hopefully someone will chime in with a workaround for you.

Hey Maria - Articulate does not support the modification of published output, so that's not something I'll be able to assist with either. As Wendy mentioned, hopefully someone will be able to chime in and assist you here.
