Result slide in an action maze
Dec 11, 2014
I'm creating an action maze where users select an answer (correct, acceptable, incorrect) in challenge 1. Their challenge 1 choice brings them to either challenge 2 , 3 or 4 depending on their answer in challenge 1.
So all together, my story has 4 quiz slides. Learners will only encounter 2 of the 4 quiz slides.
I'm having difficulty figuring out the results slides.
My most recent attempt has been to create individual result slides for challenges 2, 3 and 4. And then these 3 results slides feed a 'master' result slide to report out to our LMS.
So far I haven't been able to get the master result slide to display the correct pass/fail information.
I've also tried having only one result slide and I tried to create my own scoring with variables. I just haven't figured out a good way to score this action maze and report the result out to an LMS.
I have added a picture of the story view to give a better idea of the flow.
Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Hi Jen,
Reporting on results of a quiz that includes branching to different scenarios options is a bit trickier, as the results slide will be cumulative of all questions selected or results slides as you can see detailed here.
Here is an older thread where a lot of users discuss quiz branching and results, and although some of the examples deal with languages or roles in a company - it may help you start to think about how to set this up.
Thanks Ashley.
I did find an article with a couple screenr videos in it that demonstrate how to set up results for multiple branching quizzes. In case anyone else faces this same challenge, here's the link:

This demonstrates the set up for 2 branches, I was apply to apply it to my course which has 3 branches.
Thanks Jen for the update and I'm glad you were able to find a solution within that thread that worked for you!
