Results not being send to LMS

Oct 28, 2021

Hi guys,

I am running into a problem after the update with the new LMS tracking options. I have multiple scenes all with their own result slide which should be submitted once the timeline starts on these slides.

Unfortunately only the first scene with a result slide communicates to our LMS. The other results are not being send. I have tried a lot of different methods for the results to show up but unfortunately without any luck. I have uploaded the course hoping somebody can help me out. Result slides are the last slides of scene 5,6,7,12,8,9,10.

Hi, Giovanni,

When you have separate Results slides, Storyline only tracks/reports the first one that the user completes.

If you want to track all the quizzes, add a Results slide at the end that tracks the other Results slides.

Here's more info about reporting and tracking:

Hi Judy,

For our clients it is important that when a student decides to stop at a certain point, lets say, after 3 chapters / 10, the teacher can see he already has completed the 3 chapters.

In this case he won't have visited the final result slide containing all the other result slides. We used to be able to just add a result slide to each chapter and have all of them send individually once the student reached that specific result slide.

I can't imagine other people also not having this problem. As a teacher it is vital to see the progress of a student without forcing the student to reach a specific point in the course (I.E. the final result page)

We have courses with over 25 chapters each with a result slide. Our teachers need to see what the results are if for example a student completes the first 5 chapters the first week. And continues the next week with chapter 6 - 10.

I will look into the documentation to see if I can find the solution. We postponed the update as long as we could because we were worries regarding this matter, but Articulate forced us to run the update. We can't go back to the old version which worked fine.

Cheers,

Giovanni
