I have 6 quiz questions built into the content; they are not batched together but appear in various places in the story. All of the quiz slides are tied back to the results slide and their properties are set to reset to initial state when revisiting. You can take each one unlimited number of times. Passing score for the quiz is 100%; but I have a retry button that has a trigger to reset the results and jump back to the first quiz question.
When I intentionally fail and retake the quiz my initial results are still there and I cannot get a pass on the quiz despite answering all questions correctly.

Not sure I understand. I just ran through the module and the quiz slides are set to 'unlimited' attempts which means I have to keep trying till I get it correct and move on. How are you intentionally failing?
Good point. What I mean is that I am answering incorrectly on the first attempt, after I get the layer for incorrect, I then select the correct answer and move on. At the end of the course my score reflects what my performance was based on my first response and disregards my subsequent attempts.
Then when I retry the entire quiz it doesn't reset my score. Does that make more sense?
I failed first attempt of each slide, try again > correct. At end of the course the score was 100% so it is picking up the correct response on second attempt.
I then clicked retry quiz - saw the result flash from 100 to 0 and was able to retry and get the same 100% again.

I'm not seeing that behaviour.
