I have a meter with a dial on it. I want the learner to try it before that use it to navigate the rest of the slides. I have placed a pause the timeline cue point. At that pause I want the learner to play with the dial. I need a way to restart the timeline when they are done playing. I have tried several triggers with no success.
In that case, you could try a trigger that resumes the timeline when dial variable changes (and maybe add a condition for the the dial variable to be be >=xyz. Or, try a combination of the a when dial variable changes...trigger + plus a x sec. long offscreen motionpath animation that when complete resumes the timeline.

How do you determine "when they are done playing"?
Good question. I think they will turn the dial a few times then want to continue. Or I can just give them 5 seconds and restart the timeline.
I was hoping they would turn the dial once or twice then stop and the timeline would restart by the lack of action.
Any ideas would be helpful.

I like the variable idea.
