Jump to url doesn't pause timeline when published to LMS

Hi
I have a button that when you press should take you to a url, pause the timeline and when the url closes the timeline should resume. When viewing the publication file it works great, but when viewing it in the LMS, cliking the button does not pause the timeline
I didn't insert a trigger to pause. I used the button with it's build-in triggers.
If I have to use a button to pause- how can I use a trigger to resume timeline after the learner comes back? and another problem is that while clicking, the window of the tutorial disappears to the bottom ruler and there is a need to look for it- not like in the published file.
Thanks

Hi Shevi!
It sounds like you're seeing a couple of problems with the way your course is working in your LMS. Have you tested the course in another LMS environment to compare how it behaves there?
SCORM Cloud is a great option for this--you can create a free account right here.
If you'd like some help, I'd be happy to test the output in SCORM Cloud for you. Simply attach the original (unpublished) file to a new thread comment, and I'll take care of the rest!
If it helps any, when I create something like this, the button shows a layer that pauses the timeline, and gives the user instructions. They have two buttons, one to open the URL in a new window, and one to return to the presentation (hides the layer and restarts the timeline.)
Walt- can you upload an example? it sounds like a quick solution for me. Thanks!
Alyssa- I will attach the file for your additional help.
Thanks.
I sent it to support.
Thanks
Shevi - sample is attached.
