returning user to base slide using change of states
May 26, 2016
Hi everyone !
I have another problem ( challenge ? ), that I need help with please ?
I have a slide where I created a base slide with layers. The user clicks on the object and it takes the user to a layer. Once the user has read through it, by clicking on each picture, it returns the user back to the base layer.
The problem is that the only way I can think of returning the user back to the base slide is to return the user to it once, the 3 sections of text are normal. However when you do this, as soon as the user clicks on the 3rd piece of text it takes the user back to the base slide, without giving the user an opportunity to read the last section of text.
This is to be repeated another 2 times with 2 other objects on the base slide, but are not shown on the attached slide.
I cant use the player previous/next buttons.
I need some sort of delay, has anyone got any suggestions, using this method please ?
Bit stuck & would appreciate assistance from more experienced users !

Hi Altan
you'd need to have some way of hiding the layer when they have finished clicking each of the pictures...perhaps a small version of your wanted poster with an arrow that signals they click to return to the base slide.
Yes, I guess using a built in button is the only way of doing it.
Thanks again Wendy !
