Review earliers slides after a quiz

Oct 02, 2012

Here's what I want to do:

Learner takes a quiz, doesn't do so hot.  Next slide offers links back to earlier slides for review, BUT when they are done on each screen, I want to bring them back to this link page and not to the next slide in sequence.

Intuitively, I thought I'd put a layer with return button that only shows when the slide is entered by the link.  That apparently doesn't work, so how would one return a learner to an out-of-sequence page but does NOT let someone entering the page for the first time to do so?

I'd hate to have to duplicate slides in sequence for review.

Help?

Thanks. I think I will clarify my specific question first to see if i can get an answer to it.

I am looking for a way to allow users to choose which modules they want to review if they fail the quiz at the end of the course. The problem is that, on the first pass through, the course is set up to quide the participants thorugh a course in a linear manner. The end of each learning module brings the user to a menu that only allows them to choose the next module in the process. Attached is a process map of what I would like to happen after they fail the quiz.
