I'm creating an interaction in which there is a paragraph of text on the screen. Users need to select certain words that appear in the text. I'd like to have a running total at the top of the screen so that each time a user selects a correct word, the count goes up.
I was thinking to use hot spots over the target words, but I don't know what kind of a trigger or variable to put on each hot spot so that the counter appears on the screen. Any suggestions?

here is a rough sample that may work for you. I use transparent shapes instead of hotspots.
