Save me. I'm in a LOOP

To explain. The project starts with a slide and then gives you two buttons that go to two different videos. You click button 1 and watch the video, but then you need to watch video two. So there is a slide behind both videos that says, now you've watched this video, let's take a look at the other. Problem is now i'm in a loop. I need a way to say, if this video has been watched already, if this slide as been visited then go to another slide.
Any help is appreciated. I'm a quick learner and if someone could explain to me how i pull this off with variables i would appreciate it.

I've never had to do exactly what you're describing, but what about this:
-Create a numeric variable, let's say VID, set it to 0
-Create a trigger that adds 1 to VID when "Media completes"
-Then you could create a trigger at the end that jumps past both vids if VID=2
Just a thought.
how do i set the value to 0
i created a variable called videowatched
=
value 1
when media completes
is it implied that the value is 0 when i say change to 1 after the media completes?
Hi Cindy,
When you initially create the variable, you'll set the default value there:
0 is the default that appears when you select Number.
You can set the default value when you create the variable, like so:
Also, make sure you don't set the value = to 2, or it will be 2 (true) after watching one video. Instead, add the value of 1.
here's the variables and triggers on the scene. after this video plays it should go to another slide...and it is. after that slide it goes to this google video slide. that slide plays and that's when things go wrong.
the second slide of the project gives you two buttons, one i tunes and one google. you click and it takes you to that video, then there's another slide behind each video that says, "now let's watch the second video (the one you haven't seen). all that works, but i'm trying to set up these triggers and variable to keep them from going round and round.
So after the google video plays, if you've already watched the itunes video, it should take you to another slide, but it's not doing anything.
This is the google video slide. it just has that one trigger and it won't do anything.
Thanks for your assistance. I have no idea why it's not doing what i tell it.
Not sure how it works with your theme but why not just add a manual trigger to take you to the next slide? For example a next button that appears at a time interval that you set to be equal to the video length...
i fixed it. thanks
Thanks Cindy for the update and glad you were able to get it fixed, if it's something that could help others if they come across this thread, feel free to post it here!
