As Storyline does not provide this information directly to the LMS, I am searching for a workaround to send the passing score of 80% to the LMS using SCORM 2004.4.

I checked our documentation and although the learner's actual score is sent to the LMS, the passing score set on the Results Slide itself isn't sent. I have yet to see an LMS that shows the passing score, and I'm not aware of any other workarounds that can display this value aside from what you've shared.
