SCORM Question - Points versus Percentage

I am using a SCORM player in Sakai and need to pass points to the Sakai grade book not the percentage. Is there a way to do this? If so, does it require programming skills because I am not a programmer.

Hi Katherine,

The information Storyline sends to your LMS is detailed here. How your LMS chooses to display and use the information for reports is dependent on the LMS. You'll see within Storyline that when you create a results page you'll automatically have the following variables created:

For your score:

%Results.ScorePercent%

%Results.ScorePoints%

For the pass results:

%Results.PassPercent%

%Results.PassPoints%

You may want to connect with your LMS team about the ways in which it is reading the data and what other options may be available for your reports.

Hey, Ashely! That's a nice KB article but it only tells part of the story. Do you folks have a KB article that tells all of the data that gets sent to the LMS in the various posts the content makes?

If I remember right (and I could be hazy ) things like the raw score (which, and again I could be hazy here is the percentage score without the "%") gets sent in a different post

Hi Gerry,

I haven't seen a KB article that would include all that information.

Depending on how comfortable someone is reading it, you could generate a debug log to see all the communication between your Articulate course and your LMS.
