Screen recording e-learning

Oct 05, 2017

Hello all,

I have been working on the e-learning for my company for about a year and it is just about ready to go out in the market for our customers.

I have been in a meeting with different parts of the business who have asked the question of

'Is there a way of stopping anyone recording the e-learning via a 3rd party software?

I have tried it using this and it did record it.

Is there a way to prevent it or do I just need to put a copyright details on at the beginning?

Thank you

Jason

If someone is determined to record your content, there are a number of ways they can do it that you really can't prevent. Copyright your work. On some projects, on the instructions page, I have used a longer copyright disclaimer paragraph stating that the contents may not be copied, etc, etc. If you are in a larger company, you may even want to consult your legal department on this.
