I've created slides using the "Try" mode of the recorder. Problem is, the "screen recorder" objects fail to play any frames of video when previewing (also when produced) ...even though the frames move through whenever I scrub the timeline. I need to use Fine Tuning on many of these slides, but none of the "tuning" has any effect and and all it displays is a single screenshot. The screenrec segments work on the first 2 simulations of this course, all of a sudden it seems to be broken. I could really use some advice about what I can do w/o remaking everything from a new project file.
That's unfortunate that your are experiencing this issue, but there are a few things we can try first to rule the causes of some common errors. Please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file, and attempt to record your screen from there. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline. Also, could you please ensure that you are utilizing the most recent SL2 Update? Info on Update 5 can be found here.
