I have a handful of screencasts, in a lesson that has many screencasts, that are not showing the screencast. The screen is displayed, but there is no movement... no mouse, typing, clicking on buttons, etc. If I use the seek button to start the slide over, the screencast then plays normally. Any idea what the problem could be?
Are you viewing these courses within Preview or publish? You'll want to confirm that if you're looking at the published output you're testing it within the intended environment as testing it locally could cause odd behavior as detailed here.
Thanks for your response, Wendy. I captured the screencasts using the "video on a single slide" option. I did not use the step by step slides options. Does that answer your question?
Thanks for clarifying. Since you're using the video on a single slide option, if they're not playing you may want to look into the troubleshooting steps here. Also, you could look at testing the course within SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for testing SCORM output to see how it behaves there vs. your LMS.

Hi Janet
what mode have you inserted the screencasts?

Thanks for your response, Ashley. I published it in our LMS test system, so it should mimic what it would do in our LMS.
