Is there a simple way of increasing the standard resolution in the standard Screenshot function in Storyline? If you grab a screenshot then use the Zoom function, the image looks very fuzzy in preview.
I realise I could use external screen grabbers but I like the simplicity of the one hit screen grab.
This may help, graphic your screenshot at a high resolution, insert onto your slide but keep it at its real size ( you may need to right click and resize to its real size as images are resized to fit the slide)but off slide, copy and paste this onto you slide and resize to the size. Do not delete the off slide copy. When you zoom now it should be better.
this is because the library in storyline optimise images to the size in project by keeping a large image off slide it does not optimise the image.
If you do 'grab' the image and use something like Photoshop to crop, edit and save the image remember to create your new file at 96dpi as this is the resolution of your screen.
Photoshop will automatically create a new file at 72dpi which is why the image may turn out fuzzy if you user this method.
