Scroll bar in Dialog layer not keyboard-accessible

Jan 02, 2024

I just published and tested a course that uses dialog layers for feedback on question slides.  When testing the course with a keyboard (without a screenreader), I noticed that you cannot tab into the text box or control the scroll bar to read additional text.

Please fix this so that sighted keyboard users (who don't need a screenreader) can scroll up or down in the text boxes using the arrow keys or Page Up/Down keys.  Or if there is a way to fix this, please let me know.  Thanks.

Hi Everyone!

Iā€™m happy to share that in Storyline 360 (Build 3.86.32028.0), we fixed a bug that some of you were running into:

  • Fixed: Automatic scrolling panel in Feedback Layers does not work with keyboard navigation.

From here, all you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app!

If you run into any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Support team in a support case.
