I have a project that involves scroll panels in layers. When I publish them and test them on chrome or firefox the scroll panels won't work (They won't let the user scroll up and down). How can I fix this? I've attached my workfile to this post.
I just tested and published to CD, and all scrolling panels worked fine for me.
How are you testing with chrome? Are you uploading to an LMS, or are you just opening the story.html file? If you're just opening the story.html file in the published folder, Chrome/Firefox will not work because of issues with Flash updates.
I published your file to Web and uploaded it to Tempshare for testing purposes. The scrolling panels seem to be working as expected in Flash here, but not in HTML5 here. There is a known issue with Storyline 2 where scrolling panels do not work properly when inserted on a layer when the content is viewed with HTML5. Our QA team is working to find a solution to this issue, but in the meantime, I would recommend using Flash if possible.
I'll be sure to post updates in this thread once new information on this issue is available!
Thanks for your reply. So until your QA team can find a solution to the problem I can't use scroll panels on layers? I hope you can find a solution soon thanks again!
Unfortunately you'll have to either use Flash instead of HTML5 or avoid adding scrolling panels on layers. As soon as I have more information to share on this, I'll be sure to post it here!
Thanks for checking in, Sampada, and I'm sorry this bug is affecting you, as well.
We have reported this problem to our team, and we’ll continue to keep an eye on it to evaluate how many customers are impacted and what impact it has on courses. The number of customers and depth of impact are two of the elements that help us prioritize bugs and fixes.

Is this issue resolved now? i am facing a similar problem.
I tried it on a layer in a separate file but not working when i have it in a module. Will share the page if needed.

Here's some more detail about how we tackle bugs. I'm really sorry that I can't say if this issue will be fixed, but you're in the right place to stay updated on this bug's progress.
Does anyone know if this issue (scrolling panels not working on layers when published to HTML5) been resolved in Storyline 360?
Yes, it's fixed. See here a quick example.
