Scroll within workspace

I'm working on creating scrolling panels ...no problem there - great feature. However, within the Storyline 360 workspace, to navigate the slide, I seem to only be able to zoom in and out of it. I cannot scroll down the 'canvas' to see/edit the lower part of my long text box (which in the course is inside a scroll box). When I zoom in to a 'fit on screen' size a workspace scroll bar appears but it still does not consider the whole textbox a part of the slide and, therefore will not scroll down to the lower section of it. Am I missing something?
