Seekbar and Layer interaction

Hi Mike!

It sounds like you are trying to hide all layers besides the base layer when a learner scrolls back on the seek bar. I'd be happy to help with that!

Currently, that type of functionality would not be possible in Storyline. However, I would like to share a couple of workarounds you may find useful:

1. Adding a trigger that requires clicking outside of an image (on subsequent layers) to close that layer and return to the base layer.
2. Adding a hotspot near the seek bar with a trigger that closes the subsequent layer when the learner hovers over the hotspot.

I've inserted a cue point at the very beginning of the timeline and triggers to close layers when timeline reaches the cue point;

Thanks Steven and Stefano, I had tried some other methods like hide layer when object loses focus but that didn't work. I think the best work around for this is going to be the hot spot. That way the layer information doesn't go away before they are done reading it.
