I understand that the format option was removed, due to the retirement of Flash. I'm seeking clarification, as my team is currently updating old material. I've come across a few files (ones that I did not create), where "Format" is not an option. Is it safe to assume that this is in HTML5 only?
Since Adobe discontinued Flash, we removed the Flash publishing options from Storyline 360. Courses no longer have specific launch files for HTML5 and Flash output. Simply give your learners the link for the story.html file, which launches the HTML5-only output in their default browsers on desktop computers and mobile devices.
Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to help!
I'm glad that information is helpful to your team. I want to confirm that this is why you do not see an option in the software. This does not mean that your course was originally published in HTML5 only format.
If you see Flash components, like SWF files, I'd recommend republishing to remove these components in your output files.

Awesome, thank you! I'll take it back to my team - you may have just saved us hours of work!
