However, the end of the article provides this kicker: "To send question text to your LMS, publish for SCORM 2004 or Tin Can API (also called Experience API)."
We only publish for SCORM 1.2
Is there a way to send question text to the LMS (Saba, specifically) when publishing for SCORM 1.2?
I believe captivate changes the identifier to show the question, the identifier was never intended to be used this way, but captivate does make it work, think it changes spaces for _ and removes special characters.
The data is sent automatically as you can see in the documentation that I shared. It may be moreso about which report to choose. I'd advise you to follow up with your LMS team on that.

Scorm 1.2 does not have a description filed for the question text.
Hi James!
Phil is correct. To send question text to your LMS, publish for SCORM 2004 or Tin Can API (also called Experience API). You can read more here.
Phil is this the case for all tools publishing for Scorm 1.2 or is it specific to Storyline?

Thank you Leslie
When setting up a report, what would a Saba LMS admin need to do to get the question text to appear in a report if I publish for SCORM 2004?
