Send Tracking Data at the end of course

Hi there

I am interested to know if Storyline has a feature that Captivate has where you can select if you want Tracking Data sent at the end of the course?

I can't seem to find an option to pre-select this?

Hello Kristy,

Are you using a LMS? you can set up the tracking information in the Publish settings of the course. You can track by slides viewed or by a Quiz results slide.

Hi Emily, we are tracking by slides viewed .... but are having issues with the module not being 'unlocked' after the first viewing.

We are trying to ascertain if this is an issue with Storyline or the LMS.

Hi Kristy,

Are you allowing a resume function? If they are able to resume where they left off, they should be able to go back and view slides they already completed upon a second visit.

Hello. I have the same question. The authoring tool mentioned in this initial thread has a "SendTrackingDataAtEnd" setting, which allows pass/fail for quiz results to be reported to the LMS at the end, instead of after every quiz question in the course.

Is there a similar setting in Articulate?

Hi Tyler,

We don't have that same feature as Captivate, as Storyline is communicating data throughout the course to your LMS. The final pass/completion status should be sent when the user reaches the number of slides they needed to view or the quiz results slide.
