Learner creates a custom email in a text entry box which is saved as TEB1.
Later in the course, the learner can edit the custom email, so I want TEB1 to display on the page as a reference, but they can edit and it saves as TEB2.
I tried creating a new text entry box with the reference %TEB1% as the default text, but it doesn't work. Any ideas? JavaScript?
What I want to do is take that variable that I created/entered on the first page you created, and have it appear in the text entry box on the second page, so I can edit what I entered previously and save that as a new variable. Does that make sense?
Hey Megan - I updated my previous example and provided another example from a colleague. The content will not 'hold' when you are editing if that's what you were hoping for though, as it will blank out for the new input.

Hello Megan - Check out the attached and see if it covers your idea as a launching point? Making sure I understand your goals here.
I utilized a data-entry box, which creates a variable by default.
Thanks for your response and help Leslie.

Yes, I wanted the content to be held for another edit. Oh well, thanks for the help anyway!
No problem Megan - not sure if someone in the community has some assistance with that design need, so hopefully they will chime in if so :)
