Setting character size in Storyline

Hi,

When I try to add a character into my slide, it shows up cropped and I can not change the size of the cropping without distorting the character size ratio. Please help.

Hi, are you able to provide some more details? Are you using Articulate 360 and bringing in one of the characters from the character library?

I can't think of a reason for an Articulate 360 character to crop when inserted.

Have you tried opening a new project and seeing if you still have the same issues?

If you're able to upload your story I can take a look - if it's confidential, then you can use the Articulate Support upload area and they can take a look.

Hi Saeyoung,

We've heard a few reports of cropped characters in Articulate 360 but they were able to resolve in one of a couple of ways:

  • It could be that your DPI setting needs to be adjusted. Try this:
    • Right-click your desktop and select Display settings.
    • Click the Display tab in the upper left corner of the window that appears.
    • Under Scale and layout, select 100% from the drop-down list.
  • Following the steps in this article for a clean installation with the latest version.
