Is there a way in Storyline to force screen content to be read in a specific order by screen readers - tab order for instance? I've tried changing the order in the timeline but that doesn't work, and I've not been able to find a recent post on the forum.
You can't currently change the tab order of Storyline elements. They'll be accessed by default, from the upper-left corner of the slide to the lower-right corner.
Is there any way to only have the tab highlighter indicator only move over objects the user will be interacting with or needs to be read by a screen reader. I'm creating a fairly complex interaction and the indicator is going over every single small detail and could be frustrating.
Also, is there a way to change the color of the tab indicator? Our accessibility consultant is telling us that to a visually impaired user it is too difficult to see.

Hi Magen,
You can set individual objects to be accessible to accessibility tools as detailed here. You could also look at using the custom tab order if you're using Storyline 2 as that was a new feature included in one of the recent updates.
There is also not a way to change the yellow highlight color.
Thanks Ashley! You are always so helpful and I couldn't find anything on that. This will go a long way. Have a great week.
Thanks Magen. :-) Hope you have a great week too!
