I have shapes with the text continue on them for users to click when they are ready to advance a slide.
How ever I have noticed sometimes they act different, i.e. sometimes the hand cursor turns into an arrow and doesn't let the user click if they are hovered over the text inside the shape but sometimes they can.
Is the text "continue" a separate text box on a shape? That's when I've seen that happen. If so, you can try grouping the text box and the shape and adding the trigger to the group.
If not, can you describe what is going on and perhaps upload a slide for the community to take a look?
