Show layer when timeline starts, Hide when revisiting?
Aug 28, 2012
I have a drag and drop where I wanted to instructions to be on a pop up before the exercise begins.
I have it set up to show layer when timeline begins. The only problem is that if you go forward in the course and then return to this slide, you have to view the instructions again. I don't want the student to have to click through the instructions again to review their completed drag and drop.
Is there a better way to do this (I am horrible with variables...so I'm sure there's something to be had there, I am just clueless on the possible execution).
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

I would use a T/F variable initially set to false, on the OK button set a trigger to adjust the variable to true. Then set a trigger to show layer when timeline start, with a condition IF variable = to false.
This way it will only show once.
Thanks Phil!
I'll have to try it tomorrow, but I see absolutely no reason why that wouldn't be my fix...and it's easy enough that I should be able to figure it out (even if tomorrow is the Wednesday before a long weekend).
Worked!!! Thanks again
I feel just a little smarter today than I was yesterday!
