I have used the Freeform Drag and Drop to create a interactivity. I have used the default Drag & Drop options (please refer the image attached).
The problem I had noticed is when I just dragged the drag item not dropping it on any of the drop area, clicking on the submit button the Try again layer is shown. Again clicking on the Submit button Incorrect feedback layer is show.
When using the Freeform Drag-and-Drop question, once the learner moves an object out of its initial position, it will either be Incorrect or Correct.
You can test this by creating Drop Incorrect states for your shapes. When you drop the item anywhere on the slide, it should change it immediately to that state.
If the object's not dropped in its target, it's considered incorrect, which is why the feedback says either Try Again or Incorrect.
I'm hoping some of our community members might have a workaround for what you're looking to accomplish!
