Single Page Doesn't Publish Properly

Feb 04, 2016

Hi,

Has anyone ever had one page that doesn't publish properly. It functions fine in the page preview but when the course is published only half of the objects on the page are displayed and the functionality doesn't exist.

I have not been able to update to the latest Flash Player release, my organization is still on .267

Thanks in advance for any help.

Drew

Update - Published with HTML 5 and viewed with HTML 5 on a standalone laptop and the page works fine. Unfortunately the network at work is running an IE version that doesn't support HTML5.

Hi, Andrew -- So sorry for your troubles! Can you please confirm that you are seeing this behavior when testing in the intended environment, or where the course will ultimately be accessed?

As the article states, "If you view an Articulate Storyline course on your local hard drive (or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive), you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail. To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published."

Please let us know if that helps and if issues persist, you are welcome to share your file and we will gladly take a look. :)
