SL report error appears when we import translated xliff document format

Dec 11, 2023

When i import any language XLIFF file into Storyline, I got the Articulate Storyline Error Report screen and then an Importing Translation window, which doesn't change or go away. I have to cancel it. When I cancel, the first slide is translated; however, none of the other screens are translated.

we tried in multiple systems and the same issue appears. can someone please provide a solution.

Hello Rajenda,

Thanks for reaching out!

That behavior and error you are seeing usually means that there is invalid/corrupted data in either your Storyline 360 project file or the translation file that you are importing into the course.

Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file and translation file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete those files when we're done testing!

Hello MidhunK,

Thanks for the update! Feel free to open a case with our support team here when your client is ready to share their project files so we can take a closer look at them to check what's causing the error message to appear. We wouldn't be able to tell what's wrong with the files just by looking at screenshots, but we can correct the behavior once we have the files on hand for testing.
