SL3 - Roadmap or Release Dates?
Feb 15, 2016
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any visibility into the Storyline roadmap?
It's been a while since the last major update, so am hoping there will be an update sometime soon.
Some companies provide a high-level insight into a products release schedule, give or take six months, though couldn't find anything for SL.
I'm guessing Articulate don't provide this information, though I thought I'd ask the question anyway - just in case I'd missed the memo.
Thanks,
Simon

Hurray! Already found several new ways to create infinite motion path cycles in sL3 and got a chance to try out closed captioning. Wonderful stuff :)
Does Storyline 3 require Adobe Flash?
Hi Theresa - From a software standpoint, yes, you need Adobe Flash Player 10.3 or higher. From a viewing perspective, you do have additional HTML5 support and can publish as so. Check out our full list of system requirements here.
Are Storyline 3 .story files compatible with Storyline 360? I know with Storyline 2, they aren't cross-compatible.
Storyline 3 is the same as Storyline 360 but without Articulate 360 subscription features, such as Content Library and Articulate Review. This means you can open Storyline 3 and Storyline 360 projects interchangeably, which is great when you’re collaborating with other Storyline users.
As Storyline 360 continues to evolve, there will be new features that exist only in Storyline 360. This means you won’t be able to open Storyline 360 projects in Storyline 3 if they include new features specific to Storyline 360. You’ll still be able to open Storyline 360 projects in Storyline 3 if they don’t have Storyline 360–specific features, and you’ll always be able to open Storyline 3 projects in Storyline 360.
