SL360 Variable and Trigger not working as I would expect

Sep 29, 2018

I have a variable that changes from False to True when a success layer in a quiz has been visited then a trigger on a menu page that is supposed to change the state of a button from Hidden to Visited when the the variable changes but I cannot get the button to appear. Can someone help please.

Wendy,
If you feel like taking a look, I would be enormously appreciative.

The menu item on the second screen to run is Business Principles.
You may need to look at the answers to the questions before running or you
may be able to see directly from the trigger order what the issue is.

Thanks

 Hi Ian

this is the trigger I was talking about:

Because 'visited' is a default state - SL does this automatically. I would suggest duplicating the visited state and calling it 'completed' ( a custom state) then use completed in the trigger

Change state of BP-Departed to 'completed'  when timeline starts on slide 1.2 on condition that BPComplete = True.

This is what the trigger will look like

Attached is the updated file so you can test it...I haven't

Wendy,
Building 3 small coffee tables. Have 2 tops in clamps and waiting for the
glue to dry. The third will go into clamps tomorrow morning and I can start
adding the legs. Should have 2 finished tomorrow and the third next
weekend....hopefully.
