Slide background image file name

Is there a way to learn the properties of an image that was used as a slide background?  Is there a way to save a background image?

I have a slide that has a background image that I want to use in another story.  I need to edit the image first.

Hello Judy and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

Interesting question and you may have a couple of options, and I'm hoping the community will chime in and share their experience with you as well.

  1. If the picture was added directly to the slide to create the look of a background image, you might be able to right-click to do a Save-As Picture.
  2. If it was added to the background, I'm not aware of a built-in way to save this, but you could hide all of the slide items and then use a  screen capture tool.

You would need a 3rd party tool to edit the picture before using in another story.
