Check out the strange behavior on this scene. Should be easy enough- I want the layer to show up after 30~ seconds. Instead the layer either won't show at all, or it will partially show and have some of the base layer content (which should be hidden) coming through. Can not figure out what I've done wrong here, help!
Same behavior as before. I had originally used the cue point, and switched to the time trigger because it wasn't working. If you notice the progress (seek) bar pauses halfway through never completes. Thanks for the suggestion, but still searching for an answer. I copied and re-pasted the layer because sometimes I think there is just some code background error. If I can't get this copied version to work I can start from scratch, but like most of you- I really care more about the WHY? vs. just fixing, thanks all!
Yeah, I deleted the grouping and still the same issue :(
Michael H- Can you please upload the working slide if possible? Then I can compare yours to my version to see what you've done differently. Or at a minimum a video demoing the layer working?
Actually, while I was trying to find the problem , I had not only changed that one trigger but also turned on/off items on the baselayer. It seems that Freeform 6 in the Icon 2 group causes the issue. See attached the version with this item's visibility turned off, which consistently works for me. This seems to be a blank object anyway, so I'm not sure why it is there in the first place. I'm on the latest version of SL360. Let me know if that works for you.
Your version does indeed work! I'll take some time to figure out how you fixed it and what I was doing wrong. Thanks to you and this awesome community. Glad to know there are helpful, smart, and responsive people out there! Thanks again to all who lent their ears and eyes!
Funny thing it is 7 months later and I just encountered the same issue in 360 with a slide that will not show the next layer (no matter what trigger I use) but after reading the above issue I turned off my icons and it works. Any fix identified?
I don't see that we have identified this as a bug yet, but considering you ran into the same issue, it sounds like we need to investigate this further! Could you share your file with us here so we can have a closer look?

Try changing the second slide trigger to show the layer "When timeline reaches Cuepoint#1"
try recreating that layer. I think it may be corrupted.

Agree with Walt - I tried changing to 'cue point 1' even tried hiding the objects on the layer and adding my own but still not working.
Hm, changing the trigger to cuepoint#1 worked for me consistently, I tested several times.
Hi Brian
is this a SL360 or SL3 file? just curious if that could be a factor
Please upload if so...I just rebuilt and still having this issue! Storyline 360 for those asking. Check out the video of this problem in preview mode.
It's the grouped images on the layer - I just deleted the layer and added a new layer with three images and it works
False alarm - it worked twice and now it won't work again :-(

Hi Christine!
I don't see that we have identified this as a bug yet, but considering you ran into the same issue, it sounds like we need to investigate this further! Could you share your file with us here so we can have a closer look?
