Slide Master is not displaying in story.html5 output

Dear,

I created a sample course in storyline with slide background. I created a single slide background for all the slides in the master slide. I published this course for both HTML5 and ipad. When I viewed the story.html5 in my system's chrome browser, the course runs without the bg. So, I tried to view the same file in my android tablet  the same problem occurs. However, I manage to make it viewable by inserting the bg in each and every slide manually and use the format option to "Send to back" to set the image. Why this happens to me is this a bug? or am I doing anything wrong?

FYI:

The back ground image/fill is working fine in swf and story.html output but not in story.html5 output.
