Slide master Text placeholder
Sep 17, 2018
Hello All,
Not sure if this is possible, but if anyone will know it will be the community.
I have created a slide, a simple image and text box. Then I decided I wanted to actually use a slide master to standardize the positions.
I created a master, put an image placeholder in, and a text placeholder over the text box I already created.
I then applied the style. Here is what happened
1. the image had to be reloaded, which I kind of expected
2. the text box (placeholder) inherited the text from the name of the slide rather than the existing text box. Is there a way to have it inherit the text already on the slide?
thanks.

Hi Ari!
Slide master text placeholders won't inherit text already on the slide. For the slides you already created, use the eye icon in the timeline to hide the placeholder. That way, you won't see overlapping text boxes. 😊
A;ussa.
Then why is it importing the slide name into a box?
Hi Ari,
It could be that you're using a title placeholder. Would you be able to share a sample of your file with me so I can take a closer look?
