I have one slide only where no navigation works. The player next and previous buttons don't work and neither do any custom navigation buttons. Once I'm on the slide, I can't get out of it. There are no conflicting player triggers. And its only happening on this one slide. I've checked the player navigation settings and its set to 'Free'. I've created a new slide and moved all the content to the new slide. No luck. Very frustrating and confusing.

I have a similar issue. I'll attach the story file. On each slide numbered 1.5 thru 1.14 the Main Menu button should take the user back to slide 1.4. This only works if the user hasn't clicked on any other button on the slide. For example, if you click on the "What is it?" button, a new layer appears. When you go back to the base layer, the Main Menu button no longer functions. It all functions properly when I preview it but when published it doesn't work.
I simply published it - changed nothing - took the settings that came with your file. When you published were you uploading to it's intended environment or still viewing locally as that can cause some issues.
Due to lack of LMS at this time, I have to link to it from a shared drive. So I was viewing it locally, then copying it over to a shared drive and viewing it from there and had the issue both times.

Do you have an issue with my published file here? I took a look and I could get back to slide 1.4 following your scenario.
I see it working properly in your file. What did you do?

Is that a web server? If you need to view locally, you may want to consider publishing to CD.
