slide question

Oct 07, 2022

I am working on a slide presentation in Articulate Storyline and I noticed that something is covering the base layer of the work that I have already done. Please see attachment. I can see the text and images that are placed on the left preview pane - 1.2 Delegation Process. As you can see from the attachment the images and text are selected but I can't figure out what happened that they are not visible. The blue area covering them is not selectable.

Hi Brenda,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing a screenshot of what you're seeing! I'd like to ask a couple of clarifying questions to help me troubleshoot.

  • Are you working from your local hard drive? Working from a network drive can cause erratic behavior.
  • Is this only happening on one slide or multiple slides?

I'd like to take a look at your file to investigate further. You can upload it here or privately in a support case. We'll be sure to delete it from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.

Thank you for replying. I figured out the problem. There was a shape in my layers panel that was blocking the base layer.
