Slide with layers/interaction not working outside of Storyline- help?

Hi,
This is my first time using this forum, but I'm hoping to get some insight. I developed a course in Storyline 360 that includes a side with four layers total. The user should be able to click an image to go to the first layer, listen, then close...returning to the base layer where they can then click images for the other two layers. It works fine inside Storyline when I preview it, but when I "publish to LMS" and view it, the user can't navigate to layers 3 and 4 after examining the first layer. My triggers seem to be set up correctly and two colleagues are befuddled as well. I'm attaching a document with screen shots, but if an Articulate expert wanted to look at the story itself I'd be happy to publish it to a safe online site.

Thanks for those details and for including that doc- really helpful.
It looks like we have an open case for you for this issue based on a response sent in to my colleague Chip. It's been escalated to our Support Engineers, and they'll be reaching out to you directly via email to get to the bottom of it.
