Hearing audio from a different slide

Feb 13, 2015

I’m working on a project that contains videos and web objects. When it runs, the project displays an intro (web object) that plays itself until it gets the next slide named as ”Home”, this slide contains a couple of buttons that get to other slides. One of these buttons links to a MP4 video slide named “Presentation”.

The bug happens when I test the publish from the server. The project begins like it’s supposed to do, but when it gets to the Home slide, it plays the audio from the Presentation video. It only happens on the first load; then in the next reload it doesn't happen.

Hi Ek,

Have you looked to see if it'll happen when you clear the cache and browsing history or in a brand new browser? Are you viewing the Flash or HTML5 output? Have you looked into trying in a different server or web hosting site? There are a few options you may want to test out here.

If you'd like us to test it out as well could you include a copy of your .story file here?

Hi, Emily and Ashley, Thank you so much for your help.

I always view and use the HTML5 output (story.html). I recently realized to not work with USB drive wich I have been doing all this time. Maybe that's the cause of this.

@Ashley, is necesary to use the FTP option? I always upload the publish with a FTP client.

Unfortunately I'm not allowed to upload any content.
