I just prepared a screen recording and insert it into a scene as 'Step-by-step slides" with View mode steps. I have set all slides in the recording to advance automatically to next slide. But among 2 slides, they pause to advance to next slide in both the Preview and Published file.
Hi Norris - so you've checked the slide properties on those slides and they are set to "Slide advances automatically?"
I wonder if the slide timeline just got extended accidentally and you're actually just seeing an unusually long delay before the slide actually ends and advances? I'd suggest opening up the timeline below your slide, and checking the slide duration. You can drag the endpoint of the slide timeline so that the duration is shorter.
Thanks for getting back to me. There wasn't any extra time at the timeline. I'd checked it.
However, I started a new project today and this issue didn't recur. Yesterday I did play with the timelines, shortening them and I wonder if this has an influence?

Hi Jeanette,
Many thanks for your advice. : )
I have the same issue. My slide is set to automatically advance. My slide trigger is set to advance when timeline ends. Any ideas?
Hi Killian,
Does your timeline show any extra time at the end of it?
Are you able to share your file or send it to us privately so we can have a look?
Thanks!

Thanks for checking back in, Killian, and glad to hear a new project resolved it.
Please do let us know if you run into the same issue again.
Thanks!
