Slides continue to advance when video paused

I have set the slides up to advance when the video completes. However, the slides continue to advance when the video is paused by clicking on the video. The seek bar solves this problem, but I want to remove the ability to pause the video independently of the seek bar. Is there a way to do this? (I have music playing across 3 slides so am trying to minimise the music disruption across the slides. Using end of timeline is more difficult to control the exact end of the video with embedded music, hence using end of video as the trigger). Thanks.

Try putting a transparent shape over the video.
Hi Lynn,
I'd agree with Michael's suggestion and if depending on the video you may also want to look at disabling the video controls - and if you're using Storyline 2 you can also set the seekbar to be read only.
Many thanks, it works a treat.
The transparent shape works well. My work is very heavily video-based on workplace practices, so having to add in transparent shapes all the time really add to the process, but it does work well and luckily all my videos are exactly the same size and position, so I can cut and paste easily enough. Thanks for the other suggestions.
Thanks for the update Lynn!
