I'm creating a course using a template. I have several other finished courses that have been built using the same template and am trying to borrow some of the slides by importing them into this project. Some of the courses allow me to import slides and others the slides will refuse to import. Any idea why this would happen?
I'm curious if the Story Sizes of the slides are different. If the template's slide size is different from the new project, try setting them to the same size to see if that helps. You can check this from the Design tab in Storyline.
I'm happy to see my teammate Ronaziel helped by importing the two projects into a new blank Storyline project. Be sure to let us know if you have any follow-up questions!
Depending on your OS settings, when you select a file to import, you may have to wait so it can create a preview. If you go on with the next step before a preview is created, Windows will consider the file in use, and not allow an import.

Can you share the files with us in a support case for testing purposes if that doesn't do the trick? We'll reach out soon after we hear from you!

Thanks Becca, I checked the slide size and they are the same. I have shared the files via the link provided
