HI, My Storyline seems to be acting funny. Certain slides are responding slowly, there is a delay that varies from 10 seconds to 3 minutes in the slightest modification. I cannot seem to figure it out, has anyone else experienced this, How do I fix it?
I experienced this behavior when I first started using Storyline, and realized it was because all of the images in my course were way too big. I would download the largest file size from a stock photo site and not resize the image before putting it in a course. Now I either download the "Web" or "Low" version of an image or resize the image.
Could that be it? Or maybe you're running out of memory?
Additionally I'd look at closing down any other programs that could be contributing to a memory hog on your system and see if Storyline performs better with other programs closed.

I never thought of that, I am using screenshots and video of the software I am building a training for.
Hi Erin,
You'll also wnat to make sure that you're working on local project files as described here, are using the latest update of Storyline and meet at least the minimum system requirements here.
Additionally I'd look at closing down any other programs that could be contributing to a memory hog on your system and see if Storyline performs better with other programs closed.
