I've created a software simulation module and published it in LMS (SCORM 2004) format.
When I access the content via a standard connection it works fine with no sticking or freezing, however when I access it from within our Citrix environment the content freezes as soon as there is a drag action (i.e. scroll bar).
Has anyone else encountered this? Or does anyone know what might be causing this, and potential fixes?
Not resolved - think it's a bandwidth issue with scrolling actions using up a lot (too much) of bandwidth due to number of screens updating in a short space of time and causing it to freeze/crash.
Our IT dept. are looking into it but I'm not confident of a resolution which is annoying as we purchased Storyline on the basis that we could use it for software simulations.
As an aside we didn't experience similar problems with scrolling action when using Oracle User Productivity Kit so it's likely to be something about the way Storyline publishes the screencasts.
Let me know where you get with this. I, too, am having an issue with Storyline courses being accessed through a Citrix connection. I'm not doing software sim, but my courses still don't function properly on the Citrix side.
No resolution as yet I'm afraid Jason. The feeling is that it's potentially a bandwidth issue. It's not only the screen recordings that cause issues, I also found that items appearing based on position on the timeline were much "clunkier" (erratic and sporadic) than when viewed on a non-Citrix connection...

have you solved that?
when we try citrix we just get a black screen, cannot access at all.

This question was raised a while back... has there been any solutions?
HI Pernille,
I don't see any additional updates - but it may be worth reaching out to Greg directly using the "contact me" button on his profile?
