There could be dozens of reasons. One is that the trigger may be set to the timeline of something other than the slide. Another is that the timeline of the slide may be grossly extended, like to thousands of seconds. Some people have found it works best to make that jump when the media (video) completes.
Attach your file by clicking on the ADD ATTACHMENT button and browsing to your .story file. Someone can look at it and maybe isolate exactly which problem is keeping it from working.
