Start the timeline to a specific time when user click button

Hi everyone,

is it possible to start the timeline at a specific time just when the user click a button?

For example:

I have 2 buttons, when I click button A, the timeline starts at 01:00.

When I click button B, the timeline starts at 02:00.

Does Storyline 2 have a trigger for this specific action?

Currently you cannot jump to a specific point on the timeline.

Ok thanks everyone. Something similar it should be achieve with layers or states, but it isn't the same thing.

You can split the video yourself, and put each segment on a separate slide.

If you want bells and whistles:

1. to play the entire video at once, use a variable to jump from slide one to slide two when the timeline finishes

2. provide users with a button to play entire video, one to play portion 1 and one to play portion 2
